The Woman Behind the Brand
Where it all began
Sandra Obeid grew up in Lebanon with beauty as a constant background. The rituals were everywhere. A mother applying kohl before going out. A grandmother with flawless skin and a very specific set of products she had been using for decades. Sandra watched all of it and took notes, even before she knew that was what she was doing.
She went into fashion early. In 2010 she joined Studio El Fan in the modeling category and spent years working alongside designers including Elie Saab, La Bourjoisie and John Charles Zakaria. Those years gave her a feel for what quality actually means. How a product sits. How it performs. How long it lasts.
She moved to Dubai and built a following around beauty and fashion content that felt honest rather than staged. People trusted her recommendations. That trust eventually pushed her in one direction: make the products herself.
Gomar Beauty launched in 2022 with a clear idea. Professional tools at honest prices, built for women who live in this climate and hold themselves to real standards. Everything gets tested before it ships. Nothing gets through that Sandra would not use herself.

The Story So Far
How we got here
The Foundation
Sandra joins Studio El Fan in Lebanon and enters the professional modeling world. She works with designers including Elie Saab, La Bourjoisie and John Charles Zakaria, and spends years learning what real quality looks and feels like from the inside.
The Idea
Sandra sees a clear gap in the regional beauty market. Professional tools made specifically for the Middle Eastern woman, at prices that make sense. Research begins. Suppliers are tested. Standards are set before a single product is finalised.
Gomar Beauty Launches
The first collection drops in Dubai. A curated set of makeup brushes and the Jade Roller and Gua Sha Set. The UAE beauty community responds immediately. Growth is entirely organic, driven by real recommendations between real people.
The Range Grows, So Does the Map
Ice Globes, Premium Beauty Sponges, Luminous Mascara, Flower Highlighter, Coloured Contact Lenses. Gomar opens shipping to Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and beyond, connecting with the wider Arab beauty community.
200 Products, 50,000 Customers
Gomar crosses the 50,000 customer milestone. The range now spans more than 200 products across brushes, skincare tools, makeup and hair care. The G36 Foundation Brush and Sculpt and Define Sponge become the brand’s most reached-for tools.
Building What Comes Next
Sandra continues to lead Gomar’s creative direction. A full skincare line is in development. The focus has not shifted from day one: real products for real women, at prices that respect them.

Everything in this range came through my hands before it reached yours. I pushed back on suppliers. I redid packaging. I sent batches back. Not because I enjoy making things difficult, but because I know exactly what the difference feels like between a product that is good enough and one that is actually good. Gomar only ships the second kind.
